![]() Please help.īy the way, this is my laptop model. I'm getting desperate for solutions because this is getting annoying. After entering the main page of DaVinci Resolve 17, click the software logo of DaVinci Resolve in the upper right corner, find the preference, and select User, then you can set the language, saving, playing, editing, and so on accordingly. ![]() I'm on the free version of Resolve, and I've tried a bunch of things to remedy this problem, but I just don't know if this is a software problem or if it's maybe a GPU problem with NVidia. The clip now plays in 50 slow motion and has doubled in length. Check the Ripple Timeline box and click Change. You can also access Change Clip Speed by right-clicking on the clip, or from the clip menu at the top of the interface. Simply putting an mp4 and putting basic cuts and rendering it takes the same amount of time. Press R to bring up the Change Speed dialogue. For example, a 3D scene Fusion composition is taking a half hour to render. It seems like no matter what the media I'm trying to export is, Resolve always wants to take half an hour to render it. For some reason, it's literally taking as long as entire Fusion compositions take to render. This would've taken just 2 minutes at most before the update. Even just rendering a simple 4-minute screen capture with a few cuts takes half an hour. ![]() ![]() However, recently, the program has started to get insanely slow renders on any kind of video. Buy the portable DaVinci Resolve Speed Editor with search dial iand specific keys needed for editing. About two months ago, the program started lagging a bit with playback after an update, but I put up with it. I've been using Resolve for two years now, and it's been working fine for a long time.
